I love teaching Pilates. I am delighted every time a client achieves something, reawaken muscle tone, or completes an exercise they have not been able to accomplish before. I love sifting through vocabulary using imagery to convey the alignment, action and movement a body should make. Knowing that my words will become a physical manifestation and that through them a body will grow stronger and feel better is my inspiration. In teach face2face and via Zoom in classes, private group or 1-2-1 I have helped many people on their Pilates journey and seen and heard their physical and psychological improvements, results I believe will be achieved by you too.

When you immerse yourself in Pilates you forget the days hustle and bustle, you think about perfecting your move, always trying to achieve the perfect position and revel in the sensation of the “burn” or the “quake” you feel when you are switching off your more dominant muscles and strengthening the deeper stabilising muscles around the joints which of course give the results which others observe and compliment, you appear taller, move with more poise and radiate a calmer happier energy.

People Sleep better, think clearer and I always notice the smiles on peoples faces after a class. I remember thinking how amazing Pilates was when I started learning, I thought, what ever life throws at me, I now have a tool, knowledge that keeps on growing to prevent, protect and empower my body and soul! Like a superpower!

Hot Stone Massage is available at our base in Suffolk or we can come to you!

1-2-1 and Groups

The Pilates Element runs both 1-2-1 Pilates classes or group sessions.

Whether you prefer to train with your own personal pilates instructor or gather a group of friends, The Pilates Element can arrange a class to suit you.

Meet Emily

As a therapist, I enjoy making people feel better and as a Pilates teacher, I could help people to help themselves!

Join Emily Pollington, the award winning business owner and pilates/holistic instructor.

My passion for wellbeing and fitness and making people feel better started over 20 years ago, I have been nominated for industry awards for my work with communities and charities. I love encouraging other people to try new and different forms of wellbeing so I now teach Pilates both face to face and online, working with all levels and abilities.

I am also qualified in a number of holistic therapies such as; Hot stone massage, holistic facials, fascia unwinding, trigger point therapy, Indian head massage, reflexology and a variety of body massages.

I have been attending Emilys classes for over two years initially in face to face classes in our local church hall in Hoo. I found her to be welcoming and very enthusiastic she clearly loves teaching and this comes across in her lessons. Emily explains the different moves in such a way that it is easy to understand and if you are not doing them quite right she will correct you in a nice way 😁 I suppose the biggest compliment I can give Emily is that when she moved to Suffolk and suggested Zoom classes so we could stay with her I had no hesitation whatsoever. I attend classes twice a week and it has really improved my core strength which has helped me with my lower back issues Thank you Emily I look forward to my classes every week I don’t know where I would be without your help
